Professor, Faculty of Informatics
Dr. Kubota is a professor in the Faculty of Informatics at Kansai University in Osaka, Japan. He received his doctorate in Instructional Systems Technology in 1991 from the Graduate School of Education at Indiana University, USA. Earlier, Dr. Kubota was a high school science teacher for seven years and then served as an overseas volunteer teaching science in the Philippines. He joined Kansai University in 1992.Dr. Kubota has worked actively in international cooperation as an educational development expert in numerous developing countries such as Cambodia, Syria, Palestine, Myanmar and the Philippines. His research specialties include distance education, e-learning, ICT education design and ICT communications.
