8:30 – 9:00 | Board bus (Lot C) on Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC) campus. |
9:30 – 11:30 | Tour the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Heritage Center on the Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus; visit a cultural exhibit/demonstration on campus. |
11:30 – 12:00 | Drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl). This site is administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the resting place for veterans of World War I, World War II, Korean War, and the Vietnam War. |
12:30 – 1:30 | Arrive back at KCC Campus for Lunch provided by the Culinary Arts Program, named among the top 20 in the U.S. by the Full-service Restaurant magazine. |
1:45 – 3:00 | Presentation about KCC’s technology support, distance learning courses and programs; impact to the campus (i.e. courses offered, accreditation, support for online instruction, etc.) |
3:00 | Tour disbands. |
